Kenneth "Diamonds" Whigham I have been clowning since 1978, a member of Yaarab Shrine in Atlanta, Georgia, and Anezeh Shrine in Mexico City, Mexico.
A member of the Yaarab Red Devil Clown Unit, Anezeh Taco Clown Unit, International Shrine Clown Association, Southeastern Shrine Clown Association (where I currently hold the office of 1st VP), Clowns of America, a Life Member of World Clown Association, and a member of International Clown Hall of Fame.
I am a Life Member of Morrow Lodge # 734, I was raised a Master Mason in August 1976. I became a Scottish Rite Mason in May of 1977, a Shriner in June 1977, Royal Arch Mason in November 1979, and I am Scottish Rite KCCH. I am a Vietnam War Era Navy Veteran. Following is a list of offices held: Chaplain for SESCA, 1998-1999; Chaplain for ISCA, 2002; President of Tara Shrine Club Clown Unit, 1980; President of Yaarab Shrine Red Devil Clowns, 1998; President of Southside Scottish Rite Association, 1985; Worthy Patron OES, Morrow # 531, 1984-1985; and President of Yaarab Shrine Clown Association, 2003 & 2004. I was voted into the Red Devil Clown Hall of Fame, 2003. I was awarded ISCA 2004 Clown of the Year.
Over the years, I have performed in local hospitals; Shrine Hospitals in Greenville, Lexington, and Mexico City; schools, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, day care centers for both special children and the elderly, as well as more parades than I can count. I have helped to host ISCA and SESCA conventions in Atlanta. I have won numerous first place awards in makeup and costume, balloons, and skit competitions. My goals are for the benefit of clowning and to help relay the art of clowning to others.
