SESCA Mid-Winter in Atlanta
Guys and gals, March 9th is just around the corner. I hope everyone is eager to come to Atlanta . The weather looks promising based on the preceding ten days’ forecast. Nevertheless, if we can find an affordable tornado, we’ll put it on.
I just wanted to let everyone know of our plans for activities other than scheduled classes and competition. Donna says the ladies will want to know what to wear at the evening functions. Well, that being the case, prepare to dress comfortably. We will not wear suit and ties, etc on Saturday evening since we are planning a low country boil (a shrimp, andouille sausage, corn and potato stew). That fare just doesn’t go well with dressy clothes. Friday night is a St. Patrick ’s Day theme; put on your green. The person who looks more like a Leprechaun than Lucky Charm wins a prize. That, of course, will mean shaving all but a topknot on your head and dying it orange.
We will have the Friday activities in the “D” room which is on the lower floor of main building. Our meal Saturday night will be in the ballroom on the second floor of the same building. It’s gonna be fun, it’s gonna be casual, it’s gonna be a must do.
The Red Devils have gone all out to make this a great Mid-Winter, we have silent auctions, ditty bags, Sneaker fun auctions, drop buckets, as well as big prizes. Plus, the competition and seminars will be great. We promise a fun weekend. Please let Diamonds know of your intention to attend.
Donna and I are looking forward to seeing each of you in Atlanta .

Hello Clowns,
Wow! Can you believe 2011 is almost over? As we approach this holiday season, we have much to be thankful for and much to look forward to. This is a season of parades, parties, more parades, gifts, and still more parades. Let’s each remember to represent our great fraternity in a positive way when we are out in our communities.
Looking ahead, 2012 also holds promises for a great clown year. Along with other clowns from Zamora, I am anxiously awaiting Mid-Winter in Atlanta. Our clown unit has two new additions who can hardly wait to compete for the first time. Many people have already put in a lot of work to ensure that you have a wonderful Mid-Winter Convention, but there is much more work to be done. Until then, have a wonderful holiday season and a great new year!
Peace, love, and clowns,
Kirk “Moose” Pearson
